Helwith Bridge Fly Fishery

Helwith Bridge Fly Fishery is located in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
It is just a few miles from the bustling market town of Settle which has an array of independent shops, supermarkets, cafes, pubs and hotels.
Th fishery is in the hamlet of Helwith Bridge which sits at the side of the River Ribble and the Settle to Carlisle railway. It is within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Helwith Bridge is home to a small number of houses, the Helwith Bridge Inn, the YSS hostel and two working quarries. As well of course the Helwith Bridge Fly Fishery.
Helwith Bridge Inn, which is in walking distance of the fishery, is a traditional pub with a real fire, real ales and home cooked food. If you have a campervan then you can by arrangement park it in their car park. Camping next to their car park is available. It is also possible to book a bed at the YSS hostel. Hotel Paridiso, a unique bunk room that sleeps up to 4 people and is operated by the Helwith Bridge Inn.
The fishery itself is located in a former quarry and it is this that creates a very special environment for you to fish. It is quiet, has a fantastic back drop as well as beautiful views of the Yorkshire Dales.
Horton In Ribblesdale, the start of the famous Yorkshire 3 Peaks is only a couple of miles away. You get a great view from the fishery of Pen-y-ghent, the first of the three peaks.
